It's time for fun arts and crafts, stories, and....squirrels?!?!? Yep, you read that right! This week’s highlights include sharing your gaming skills. using your handprints for a cool owl art project, and meeting Sammy the Squirrel to learn about car seat safety!

Share your skills or learn a new game or activity, such as chess, sheepshead, Ping-Pong, pool, Wii, dart ball, pickle ball or board games. Outdoor activities such as bocce ball, pickle ball, kickball, and horseshoes may also be enjoyed. Feel free to bring your own favorite board game, but no electronics please. Snacks provided by Riverview Student Council.
This storytime is exactly the same as the Preschool Storytime held on Mondays, but is held in the evening to accommodate working families and children attending school. This 30-40 minute program is geared for ages 3-5, but all are welcome!
Parents are invited to bring their children in for a very special story time that focuses on car-seat safety! This fun, interactive storytime features Sammy the Squirrel’s story on finding the right car seat for him. The storybook, “What’s Right For Me?” features Sammy the Squirrel, his parents and the Otters – a family of four with both a child safety seat and a booster seat installed in their vehicle.
Young artists explore a series of art-inspired discovery opportunities. Preschoolers experience the art museum exhibits through gallery walks, discussions, and games. Today, make a cute owl using your hand prints as wings! $1 for supplies will buy a lot of fun.
Toddler Time taps into the boundless energy of toddlers and engages your children with short stories, finger plays, action rhymes, and songs. Your toddler will be learning sounds, letter recognition, and new words that will help them grow into pre-readers, all while having fun! Two times offered!
