BOO!! Eeek – it’s time…Halloween weekend! Three days of cauldron-craziness, ghostly games, tantalizing-treats, and monster mayhem.
Here in the Tri-County area, we are so lucky to have a ton of family-friendly Halloween Happenings. This is our chance to get in on the fun with our kids, so go ahead, grab a mask, tie on a cape, or put on your own Queen/King crown. We ALL deserve some sweet treats!!
Experience Bookworm Gardens at night as thousands of twinkling lights illuminate the gardens for two weekends of not-so-scary fun! A magical evening of fun for the whole family! Come dressed in costume, and don’t forget to:
• Wander the bewitched and glowing Gardens
• Trick or Treat at our treat stations
• Listen to our book characters read aloud
• Come for dinner! Chili, hot dogs, grilled cheese sandwiches, hot chocolate and cider available for purchase.
The high school music department will be presenting a Halloween Concert (Spooky Wisconsin Stories) .Tickets can be purchased in the High School office or by contacting a band or choir member. Snacks and desserts will be served by the members. Games will also be provided by the students. Come see the high school fully decorated. Costumes are encouraged. It’ll be a “Hauntingly Good Time'”!
The sub will be decorated for Haunted Sub so enjoy a kid-friendly walk through the sub with treat stops. There will also be additional Halloween-themed activities in the museum galleries.
“Treat Street” will also be taking place at downtown businesses! Enjoy a fun Halloween themed day in downtown Manitowoc! Downtown Halloween fun for the whole family!All participating businesses will have a Jack-o-lantern poster in their window, so you’ll know where to pop in for a treat! (that might even be some goodies for the grown-ups!)
You are invited to Atrium Health’s Senior Living fun fall event! Crafts, trick-or-treating, food and games for the entire family. Atrium participates in the Teal Pumpkin Project to welcome all families with food allergies.
After trick-or-treating in the Village of Sherwood, come on over to Wanick Choute Park for some more Halloween fun, including Pumpkin Carving (Pumpkins are free until gone!), Kids Costume Judging, Spooky Trail Scavenger Hunt (Trail will be lit starting at 5:30 PM).Also, free games for kids of all ages. Food and refreshments will be available, and bags of candy will be distributed to all costume contest participants. Prizes will be awarded for best costume and pumpkin carving.

Registration deadline: Oct. 27 Get comfy, gather up your favorite blanket or stuffed animal, and join us for mac & a movie! We will be serving macaroni and cheese along with a dessert while you enjoy a Halloween movie!
