Enjoy FREE admission at the Hamilton Museum in exchange for non-perishable food or personal items, all of which are distributed to local pantries to help those in need. Last year, through the generous support of visitors, we were able to deliver several ample cartons to both the Two Rivers and Manitowoc food pantries. This year, for every 2 items delivered to the museum, visitors will given their choice of a free, letterpress printed specimen sheet (approximate size: 12 x 18”)!! Museum hours: Sunday, 1pm-5pm; (Monday, CLOSED); Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-5pm Free.

!Nourish will be hosting monthly community dinners in 2017. Each event feature a 3-course meal and activity, guest speaker, or theme. Nourish will provide a cooking demonstration or teaching moment at each event along with recipes for guests to take home.There are also activities, toys, crafts and games for the kids to do in the same area as the cooking demonstration! Young artists explore a series of art-inspired discovery opportunities at Rahr-West Art Museum. Preschoolers experience the art museum exhibits through gallery walks, discussions, and games. This week: Hot Air Balloon Art! Cut air balloons out of colorful paper and attach them to a cloud speckled blue background. $1 for supplies will buy a lot of fun. Pre-registration appreciated.

Celebrate spring with a slumber party at Camp Y-Koda! On Friday evening, we will have a pizza party and a movie, followed by smores around the campfire. On Saturday, we will welcome spring with classic camp activities such as archery (age 7+), canoeing, kayaking and more!All meals, snacks and beverages will be provided. Please bring a sleeping bag, pillow, pajamas, toiletries and a change of clothing for the next day. Please make sure your child has adequate clothing for spending a lot of time outdoors.
Bring your picnic blanket and settle in for a country evening filled with music and a variety of freshly-made wood-fired pizza and live music at Grassway Organics!Every Friday evening, you can enjoy either a live music performance or listen to tunes while enjoying a variety of pizzas, from classic flavors to gourmet specialties.All the meats come from Grassway Organics and all vegetables come from Park Ridge Organics – all local, fresh, delicious, and fun! The crusts are always hand crafted and there is also a Gluten free option. We also serve our hand crafted beer that was brewed exclusively for Grassway in partnership with Rowlands Brewing company. We also carry a hard cider and plenty of kid friendly drinks. Please feel free to bring your own if you have a particular taste.These fun evening are open to all ages, with free admission! Pizzas cost around $20.We start serving our wood fired pizzas at 4:30pm and usually stop taking orders by 8:00pm.

Walk, jog, and run your way toward a healthier life while raising funds for the Zielanis Elementary School PTP!The color run is open to EVERYONE and we encourage you to join us! The Zielanis Elementary PTP Color Fun Run is an untimed fun run featuring a 2 mile and a 5K course. Throughout the course, participants will experience color splash zones where they’ll be doused in color! All ages are welcome! We appreciate your support! Run begins at 8:30AM at Zielanis.

Although it has been over 150 years since our country has fought in the Civil War, the diaries, stories, and lessons still remain.During a Union Soldier Remembers at Pinecrest Historical Village, the pages of local Civil War veterans journals and letters will come to life as reenactors portray these stories and traditions. Along the way, you’ll meet local residents, experience immersive presentations, and even participate in military drills.Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for children age 5 to 17, under age 5 is free. MCHS Members are admitted free.Union Soldier Remembers is made possible by the Manitowoc County Civil War Roundtable, The Shopko Foundation, Port Cities Insurance, and EVM, Inc.
