City & County Historical Museums
Museum exhibits include instruments, a vintage hat collection, an old fire truck, arrowheads, blacksmith tools and much more! Located behind the History House or "Green Hotel", Brillion's first hotel, built in 1872. No admission, but donations appreciated. Open houses are held in February, June, August, September and November.
Free admission as you travel back in time. Exhibits include a blacksmith shop and the Curtiss Vintage Clothing Collection. Be sure to check out the "Cream of Wheat Flour" mural on the east side of the museum by local artist Debbie Karr.
Located on the grounds of Taylor Park, this museum complex has a variety of historic buildings. View early agriculture history, an 1860's cheese factory, explore the lifestyle of German immigrants in a log cabin and step inside the Taylor house to discover the living quarters of an of an upper middle class Victorian era family. Changing exhibits include Native American history, maritime, circus, and more!
