Archery - Manitowoc

Ages: 10 - 18 

Session I: Mon-Thurs June 19-22 OR Session II: Mon-Thurs July 10-13 

4:00 - 5:15 pm (for both sessions)

This is a competition style target archery program. Participants (Archers) will use state of the art equipment designed to fit every individual. Archers will learn about archery history, safety, proper techniques, equipment, and mental concentration. Certified instructors. Class size is limited.. Held at Citizen Park  

FEE: $23.00 resident $30.00 non-resident

Playground Playgroups - Manitowoc

Tot Lots: Ages 4-8 years

Regular Playgrounds: Ages 8-15 years

1:00 - 4:00 pm (for all sessions)

Are you looking for an action packed Summer? Do you want to meet new friends? Come to your neighborhood playground and prepare for a Summer filled with fun and adventure! Planned daily and weekly activities include, but are not limited to, arts & crafts, team sports, contests and board games. At least one special event is planned each week. A weekly event calendar is available at each playground site. Our enthusiastic leaders are skilled in sports, games leadership, arts & crafts and other age-appropriate activities. These activities are coordinated by two leaders at each site.

NOTE: The playground program is not to be used as a substitute for child-care or daycare services. Recreation staff supervise participants during scheduled activities but are NOT responsible for keeping track of children for the duration of the day. Kids can come and go as they please.

Summer Friday Field Trips - Manitowoc

 

Ages: Open to all youth, ages 5 & up

June 19 - Aug 11, Generally on Fridays, times may vary

1:00 - 4:00 pm (for all sessions)

Interactive Day at the Zoo:  June 23 12:30-4:00pm Cost: $2

Movie Day - Despicable Me 3: June 30 12:45-2:30pm Cost: $6 (plus concessions)

Cosmic Bowling & Schuette Park: July 7 1:00-4:00pm Cost: $5

Foot Golf-Two Rivers: July 14 12:00-4:00pm Cost: $10 (includes transportation) Ages 8+ only please

Maritime Museum & Sub Tour: July 21 12:45-4:00pm Cost: $4

Glaze & Paint: July 28 12:45-3:30pm Cost: $10

Roller Skating Camp - Manitowoc

Ages: 2-Adult (children under 3 must have a parent present).

August 8 - August 17, Every Tuesday & Thursday

10:30 am - Noon

Fun is the number one priority for this course! This camp is for beginner skaters ages 2 through adult!   Roller Skating Camp will teach participants the basic skating techniques such as starting, stopping and turning. In addition to the basics, many games will be played to help teach and allow for skaters to hone their skills. Classes will be held at Citizens Park Gym and taught by Rollaire Skate Center Staff.

Scuba - Plymouth

Ages: 10 & Up

May 20 in PHS pool or August 26

9:00 -11:00 am

Those ages 10 & up can try SCUBA in the safety of the PHS pool. All equipment, supervision & pool time included. Instructors: Port Deco Divers

May 20 Early fee: $36 until May 5, then $46 

Aug. 26 Early fee: $36 until Aug. 11, then $46

Kayaking - Plymouth

Ages: 6 & Up

5-6:30pm Mondays April 24-May 8 on the Mullet River Early fee: $20 until April 14, then $30

 9-10:30am Saturdays July 15-29 on Gerber Lake, Little Elkhart Lake and Lake Ellen Early fee: $20 until June 30, then $30

Both: $32 until April 14, then $42 Early fee: $5 ($4 seniors) until July 7, then $15

Those ages 6 & up can experience a great recreational activity on the local Mullet River or on local lakes. Bring your family! Kayaks (weight limit 250), paddles & life preservers provided. Instructor: Andrew Arentsen

Ages: 4 - 10

July 10 - 13

Member: All Day Pass (9 am - 4 pm): $160 / AM Pass (9 am - noon): $88 / PM Pass (1 - 4pm): $88

Non-Member: All Day Pass (9 am - 4 pm): $195 / AM Pass (9 am - noon): $108 / PM Pass (1 - 4pm): $108

A variety of activities, including nature walks, swimming wand water games, fitness treasure hunt, golf, landscape tour and planting, Zumba, Boost Academy,Kitchens of Kohler, Woodlake Market, arts and crafts, tennis drills and games, and Tour at the Craverie.
