Weekend Fun for Tri-County Kids: Holiday Gift Shows!
November 17, 2016
Spectacular Crafts Shows in Manitowoc & Sheboygan Counties this Weekend
My mom mentioned her ambitious holiday goal to me the other day – to finish all her Christmas shopping by Dec. 1. Okay, her original goal was November 1, but that was beyond ambitious, it was downright crazy! Nevertheless, it means she has only a few weekends left to check off her list and then she can spend the rest of December enjoying seasonal fun. Hmmm . . . maybe she’s on to something.
It would be nice to spend December days making cookies, watching a holiday movie marathon, and catching a holiday performance, without getting caught up in the hustle and bustle of shopping and running from store to store. Plus, as busy parents, we have to somehow fit in holiday shopping in-between school band concerts, choral programs, holiday pageants!
Lucky for all of us, this weekend the Tri-County area is host to some spectacular Holiday Gift Shows. From one end of our hometowns to the other, the gift ideas are coming our way! The gift shows gather local and national brands and artists to provide us a plethora of items, from baubles and bangles, unique and unusual, crowd-pleasing to one-of-a-kind. It’s a one-stop marketplace to either get a huge head-start on holiday gift-giving or finish your list.
