Weekend Fun for Tri-County Kids: Santa, Lights, & Festivals
Dazzling Light Shows, Holiday Performances, Santa visits – it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in the Tri-County Area! Right around the corner is our first full weekend in December, and if the holiday spirit is either making you dance or just making you dizzy, we’ve got you covered with fun family events this weekend.

Bring your Appetite and your wish list! The Man in the Red Suit will be popping up all over to eat pancakes with your little ones, take photos, read stories and so much more! View our guide to see where he’s at this weekend!

Longing for a Christmas of yeseter-year? Even if that yester-year happens to be long before you were born, this weekend is your chance to experience Christmas as it once was. Guests will experience the magic of a mid-19th-century Christmas celebration at the Wade House stagecoach hotel. Yankee and German holiday traditions, including rooms bedecked with fresh evergreen garlands, period crafts and games for young and old, stories from yesteryear and horse-drawn wagon rides will make for a memorable experience. The festivities continue in the new Wade House Visitor Center and Wesley W. Jung Carriage Museum, where seasonal decor, live music and live theatre will help to spread holiday cheer.

Presented by Brittany’s School of Dance at the Weill Center. Celebrate the joyous Christmas season with Tchaikovsky’s traditional holiday ballet, The Nutcracker.This most beloved ballet will once again be performed by the Dancescape Ballet Company, a talented young company of 44 youth members, ranging in age from 8-19. Parents, family members, and friends round out the remaining 15 members of the cast. This production features a Christmas party, a battle between life-size mice and toy soldiers, and a magical journey through the snow into the fantasy land of the Sweets. This production is enhanced by its beautiful costumes and colorful sets.

Makes plans to Celebrate Christmas in Historic Sheboygan Falls! Shop and restaurant sales and specials, in-store drawings, musical entertainment, lots of FREE activities for the kids – pony and wagon rides, Christmas crafts, pictures with Santa and much more. Take a chance in the “Christmas Cash” Holiday Raffle, musical entertainment, craft sales, cookie walks, brat fries and much more and at 4:30 p.m., top the day off with the “Songs of the Season” Holiday Parade followed by the Tree Lighting Ceremony at City Hall! Don’t miss out on this fun and memorable day in Sheboygan Falls!

Start the holidays with a sprint – or at least a merry jog – at the 22nd annual Sleigh Bell Run. Children are invited to participate in the Riesterer Reindeer Games! Riesterer Reindeer games are free of charge.
The parade begins downtown near the Central House and proceeds west on Grand Street to State Street. The parade will head south on State Street to Washington Street and end at Chilton City Hall.

Listen to classic Christmas music while enjoying dinner as the finest choirs in the area celebrate the holiday season. Activities for All Ages including carriage rides, Timm House Tours, Choral Concert, Visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, story time and other activities. Take a keepsake picture with Santa Claus. Crafts for the kids.
