The Manitowoc County Amateurs are modeled after a city team that played their first season in 1896.  The current Amateurs Base Ball Club competes against other state clubs including the Greenbush Dead Citys.  With its unkempt home field, underhand pitching and no gloves, the scores can be extremely high. After the game, visitors are encouraged to join the players in practicing the vintage style game!
